Usage

Indications: Copaxone is indicated for the treatment of: ● Relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), including individuals who have experienced a first clinical episode and MRI features consistent with MS. ● To use Copaxone effectively, patients should: Administer Copaxone via subcutaneous injection, following the schedule prescribed (daily or three times a week, depending on the formulation). ● Rotate injection sites to avoid skin irritation or injury. ● Be trained by a healthcare provider on proper injection techniques to ensure safe and effective use.

Side Effects

● Injection site reactions (pain, redness, or swelling) ● Flushing ● Chest pain Less common but serious side effects requiring immediate medical attention include: ● Lipoatrophy or skin indentation at the injection site ● Skin necrosis ● Immediate post-injection reaction (flushing, chest pain, palpitations, anxiety, and dyspnea) – though rare and usually not severe, it could be alarming.

Storage
