Indications:

Komboglyze is indicated for:

Precautions:

● Komboglyze is contraindicated in patients with severe renal impairment, acute or chronic metabolic acidosis, including diabetic ketoacidosis, or a history of hypersensitivity to saxagliptin, metformin, or any of the excipients.
● Before starting Komboglyze, assess renal function and monitor it periodically thereafter.
● Patients should be evaluated for conditions that predispose them to lactic acidosis, such as heart failure, or if undergoing radiologic studies involving contrast.
