Indications:
● Gallstone Dissolution: Urso is indicated for the treatment of patients with radiolucent, noncalcified gallbladder stones less than 20 mm in maximal diameter in whom elective cholecystectomy would be undertaken except for the presence of increased surgical risk due to systemic disease, advanced age, idiosyncratic reaction to anesthesia, or other issues making surgery risky.
● Primary Biliary Cirrhosis (PBC): It is also prescribed for managing patients with primary biliary cirrhosis, especially in the early stages of the disease.
