Indications:
● Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Vigamox is highly effective in treating the symptoms and underlying causes of bacterial conjunctivitis, helping to relieve discomfort, redness, and discharge from the eyes caused by bacterial infections.
Administration Guidelines
Dosage:
● The typical dosage for treating bacterial conjunctivitis with Vigamox is one drop in the affected eye(s) three times a day (every 8 hours) for seven days. The exact dosage and duration might vary, depending on the severity of the infection, as determined by a healthcare provider.
Method of Administration:
● Ophthalmic: Vigamox is administered as eye drops. To apply, tilt the head back slightly and pull down the lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the dropper above the eye, squeeze a drop, and close the eye. Gently press a finger to the inside corner of the eye for about 1 minute to prevent the liquid from draining into the tear duct.
Dosage Form:
● Ophthalmic solution (eye drops)
