Description

Bosutinib is employed in the management of a specific form of chronic myeloid leukemia (CML), a type of cancer affecting white blood cells. It proves beneficial for individuals who have exhausted the benefits of alternative CML treatments or are unable to tolerate their side effects. Classified as a kinase inhibitor, Bosutinib operates by inhibiting the function of an aberrant protein that stimulates the proliferation of cancer cells. This mechanism effectively curbs the proliferation and dissemination of cancerous cells.
