Employ the medication precisely as directed, typically every 12 hours. Prior to applying the eye medication, take out your contact lenses. Prior to using the eye drops, ensure you have clean hands. To administer the eye drops, follow these steps: Slightly tilt your head backward and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pouch. Position the dropper above the eye and release one drop into this pouch. Close your eyes for a duration of 1 to 2 minutes. Before each use, gently invert the Restasis bottle a few times to mix the medication. Only use the quantity of drops specified by your doctor. Wait for at least 15 minutes before inserting contact lenses or using artificial tears. Avoid touching the tip of the eye dropper or placing it directly on your eye, as a contaminated dropper could result in eye infection and potentially serious vision complications.
