Description

Elidel (pimecrolimus) Cream, 1%, is a topical medication classified as a topical calcineurin inhibitor (TCI). It treats mild to moderate atopic dermatitis (eczema) in patients not adequately responsive to or intolerant of other conventional therapies. Unlike traditional corticosteroids, Elidel is not associated with certain adverse effects like skin atrophy, making it a valuable treatment option for areas with thin skin.
